Andrew DeLuca

Business Development Manager

Andrew DeLuca joined the Heartland team in April of 2025 as Business Development Manager where he will work closely with the VP of BD and Barge Line operations. Andrew brings 13 years of experience in the maritime industry with a vast knowledge of operations on the inland and coastal waterways of the United States.

Andrew cut his teeth in the barge industry in 2012 as a fleet dispatcher at Bayou Fleet where he quickly fell in love with the boat and barge industry. Since his dispatch days, Andrew has worked various logistics and project manager roles for tank barge companies Chem Carriers, LLC, and Canal Barge Company and most recently Consolidated Grain and Barge Co. where he ran their project cargo department for the past 4 years.

Andrew received a BFA from Louisiana State University and was born and raised outside of New Orleans in Slidell, LA where he currently lives with his wife of 8 years and their two young boys. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and loves to hunt and fish as much as life permits.
